Getting Out of Our Own Way

To find true happiness, we have to get out of our own way. Our mindset can be our greatest obstacle, but we can learn how to transform it into our greatest ally.  The first step is realizing that our situation, as it is, right here and right now, is our current reality. It has to be fully accepted without any reservations for us to be able to move on. The next step is using it to bring about a positive change in ourselves by how we choose to perceive it and interact with it.

In this series, we’ll explore the importance of acceptance — of situations, others and ourselves, seeing this as a foundation for our own peace of mind and happiness, and for fulfilling relationships with others.
