To Be or Not to Be Angry? That Should Not Even Be The Question

Anger is not our friend. Ever. It does not energize us nor does it mobilize us to address and amend wrongs. It is a foe, pure and simple, leaving only destruction in its wake and finally changing the hearts and minds of exactly none. Perhaps here is the question: when there is so much cruelty and inconsideration and insensitivity in our world, is it possible not to be angry? Can anger sometimes be justified?

In this series we will look at Buddha’s wisdom and analysis of the problem with anger—why it is a poison that harms us even more than those we inflict it upon.  We will identify alternative minds we can go to instead that can free us and our world from what has become such a nasty and tragic habit of mind. We can un-default the default of anger.  Please join us as we investigate clear answers to the legitimate questions we all have about anger as well as the tools and resolve necessary to do battle against the real enemy, anger itself.
