There are many challenges and unwanted events that arise all around us. We can protect ourself from suffering by trying to change the world to conform to our wishes or by training our mind so it remains peaceful in the midst of the challenges and adventures of life. Objects, experiences do not exist independently. What arises in our mind determines what we experience.

We will learn how to recognize and eliminate distorted, painful versions of reality that lead to anger, worry or frustration. They can be replaced with more realistic views that bring out our inner goodness and wisdom.
